Sales Processor - Athens, AL

Type of Employment: Full Time

Purpose:
Processes sales and settlements on a daily basis. Enters all delivery receipts for new and used equipment. Communicates with Sales Coordinators on errors or missing information on deals in Workflow. Submits all applicable paperwork and information needed by John Deere settlement auditors. Assist with other sales department tasks as needed.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Promotes TriGreen Equipment in a professional, honest manner (to include personal appearance & dress)
  • Communicate with co-workers, sales staff, and other departmental managers in a professional and courteous manner when collecting missing information and paperwork
  • Processes each sale with attention to accuracy
  • Confirms customers’ payment for the equipment prior to settling for the unit or processing
  • Settle for equipment, take applicable bonuses and floorplan used equipment
  • Enter the delivery receipt to include current hours of the equipment and correct customer information
  • Be aware of expiring incentives to ensure settlements are made before expiration date
  • Be aware of Deere’s monthly statement cutoff and process settlements accordingly
  • Submit supporting documents to settlement auditor
  • Assist with John Deere/Quik Trak audits as needed
  • Work with sales coordinators / managers to investigate bonus charge backs as needed
  • Stay knowledgeable on current equipment programs and bonuses
  • Report all discrepancies or inconsistencies to Sales Support Manager
  • Promotes TriGreen Equipment in a professional, honest manner (to include personal appearance and dress).
  • Addresses other employees in Trigreen with respect and professionalism
  • Maintains a positive attitude
  • Follow Trigreen policy and process
  • Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
  • Participates in all training activities to continually develop technical knowledge and skill sets
  • Provides appropriate support to managers as directed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Some college/vocational training preferred
  • 1 year of work experience
  • Prior accounting experience preferred
  • Understanding of sales concepts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
  • Ability to create, analyze, and interpret internal reports
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office suite, internet tools & functions
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 10 pounds; tasks may include lifting, bending, squatting, standing, sitting for prolonged periods of time
  • Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record required
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays
