Purpose:
Processes equipment sales and payments daily. Enters all customer delivery receipts to register new and used equipment warranties. Communicates with sales staff on errors or missing information on sales deals. Submits all applicable paperwork and information needed by John Deere settlement auditors. Assist with other sales department tasks as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Promotes TriGreen Equipment in a professional, honest manner (to include personal appearance & dress)
- Communicate with co-workers, sales staff, and other departmental managers in a professional and courteous manner when collecting missing information and paperwork
- Processes each sales deal with attention to accuracy
- Confirms customers’ payment for the equipment prior to settling for the unit or invoicing from inventory
- Settles (pay) for equipment and take applicable bonuses
- Be aware of expiring bonus incentives to ensure settlements (payments) are made before expiration date
- Be aware of John Deere’s monthly deadlines and process payments accordingly
- Submit supporting documents to John Deere auditors
- Assist with equipment inventory audits as needed
- Work with sales processing team to investigate errors and discrepancies as needed
- Stay knowledgeable on current equipment programs and bonuses
Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Some college/vocational training preferred
- 1 year of work experience
- Prior accounting experience preferred
- Understanding of sales concepts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
- Ability to create, analyze, and interpret internal reports
- Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office suite, internet tools & functions
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to lift a minimum of 10 pounds; tasks may include lifting, bending, squatting, standing, sitting for prolonged periods of time
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record required
