Purpose:
Process all wholegoods-related sales transactions (receipting of equipment, settlements, invoicing, delivery receipts, etc.) timely and accurately, assist in ensuring the dealership is utilizing all available programs/discounts, and ensure customers are properly invoiced.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage Wholegoods e-mail
- Work with sales management and Inventory Manager to create Purchase Order numbers for retail and stock orders in a timely manner
- Review and correct erroneous charges on pending stock units
- Ensure equipment information in the dealer business system and/or other sales systems is accurate
- Assist with cost adjustments and write downs as needed
- Assist with internal and external inventory audits
- Data entry of all wholegood invoices and upload invoices for Accounts Payable
- Reconciles applicable accounts in the general ledger
- Assists with John Deere inventory audits
- Represents the dealership as the point of contact for John Deere Financial on settlements inquiries and requests
- Assists Sales Processing with daily settlements and invoicing as needed
- Work with other team members to ensure accurate and timely sales processes
- Promotes TriGreen Equipment in a professional, honest manner (to include personal appearance and dress)
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with other TriGreen locations and including peers, management, and support resources with a continuous commitment to teamwork
- Follows all policies and processes
- Follows and promotes all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments for all TriGreen team members
- Performs other duties as assigned
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
- Associates Degree in an Accounting/Finance discipline preferred
- Experience with using business system applications preferred
- Understands accounting fundamentals
- Ability to use TriGreen’s business system and other programs specific to the position
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have analytical, problem solving, communication, motivational and good interpersonal people skills
- Familiar with John Deere and competitive products.
- Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office suite,
- Internet tools & functions
- Ability to speak effectively in one on one or group settings
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to analyze and interpret reports
- Ability to lift a minimum of 15 pounds; tasks may include lifting, bending, squatting, standing, sitting for prolonged periods of time
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record required
- Ability to work extended hours and occasional Saturdays
