TriGreen Equipment Celebrates Ribbon Cutting at New Athens Facility

Athens, AL — 28 October 2025  — TriGreen Equipment proudly celebrated the grand opening of its newest facility in Athens, Alabama, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued investment in the region. The ribbon-cutting ceremony welcomed employees, local officials, members of the Chamber of Commerce, and community partners to commemorate the occasion.

The new location, situated on U.S. Highway 31 just like the historic facility it replaces, features a larger showroom and expanded shop space designed to better serve homeowner customers and those in the agriculture, construction, and green industries. The move reflects TriGreen’s commitment to providing exceptional service and creating a workplace where the location’s 20+ employees can thrive.

“This is the nicest location I’ve worked in during my 28 years in the industry,” said Brent Wolfe, Store Manager of the Athens location.

“We’ve brought in new parts, new tooling, and new machines — but the two most important things we’ve brought with us are our TriGreen customers and our TriGreen employees. At this location, our employees represent over 150 years of experience, and they’re the heart of everything we do.”

The Athens facility is TriGreen’s third newly opened location in Alabama in recent years, joining Leeds and Albertville. This new facility underscores the company’s long-term investment in the region, which is also home to TriGreen Equipment’s main headquarters. “North Alabama is growing — and we’re growing with it,” said CEO Mike Underwood. “This expansion is about people. It’s about making sure our team has the tools and space they need, and our customers have the experience they deserve.”

The event also honored the legacy of the previous location, which played a foundational role in TriGreen’s history. Underwood, who once managed the historic store, reflected on the memories and milestones made there, while expressing excitement for the future.

“This new facility is a symbol of where we’ve been — and where we’re going,” he said. “We’re proud to be part of the Athens community — not just as a business, but as neighbors. We’re looking forward to making new memories here.”

TriGreen Equipment extends its gratitude to its customers for their patience during the transition and to its employees for their dedication and hard work.
