What is a Re-Life, and what’s included?

A Re-Life is an extensive reconditioning of an older tractor or piece of machinery. It’s similar to remodeling a house – the goal is to bring that equipment up to modern standards and give it new life with better reliability. A Re-Life comes with a customizable plan that can include:

  • A new engine, transmission and/or drivetrain
  • A new cooling package
  • Upgraded hydraulics and additional SCVs
  • A new cab or upholstery
  • Repainted panels
  • Upgraded technology, including current displays, receivers, and other hardware and software
  • New tires

Some Re-Life tractors may qualify for extended warranty with John Deere.

What qualifies a piece of machinery for a Re-Life?

Re-Life programs are meant to be value-minded repairs. Many customers who consider Re-Life have pre-emissions row crop or scraper tractors that have been reliable and well-used. When considering a replacement tractor versus a Re-Life, customers find the Re-Life option to be less expensive while still bringing many aspects of the machine up to current capabilities.

The current condition of the machine also factors in to the ability to conduct a Re-Life. Talk with your local TriGreen about the machine you have in mind, and we can provide machine-specific details on whether that tractor is a good candidate for Re-Life.

How long does a Re-Life take?

While each Re-Life program is different, based on the machine condition and needs of the customer, usually a complete Re-Life takes about 60 to 90 working days.

Is financing available for Re-Life?

While Re-Life programs are designed to be cost-effective, we know that cash flow and cost management are key during and after the Re-Life process. We can work closely with John Deere Financial to explore options for low-interest rate financing or no-payments, no-interest options followed by low-interest-rate term options.
