Digging, trenching, and planting is a breeze with a loader and a factory-installed backhoe. This package is built on John Deere’s iconic 1025R sub-compact tractor.
The 1025R puts you behind the wheel with a 23.9 horsepower diesel engine, four-wheel drive, and plenty of torque to get the job done. The 1025R features a Premium Operator Station with an adjustable, high back seat and armrests and tilt steering. A position control hitch sets the rear hitch height once when doing repetitive tasks.
The easy-to-use two pedal hydrostatic transmission works similarly to an automatic transmission in your car. Moving from forward to reverse is seamless as use your loader to scoop and dump materials.
The 1025R is also eligible for the TriGreen Secure 10-Year Powertrain Warranty^.
The 120R is a capable companion to the 1025R tractor. This front loader comes on and off the tractor easily, without any tools. It has a Quik-Park stand, and when paired with a 1025R tractor, you can remove the loader hydraulics with just the flip of a lever.
The 120R can lift up to 553 pounds - which is a lot of bags of fertilizer, scoops of mulch, or even whole trees to plant.
Dig or trench to your heart's content with the 270B backhoe on your tractor. With a digging depth of 7 feet, landscape projects are no match. The 1025R's hydraulic flow and system pressure are a great fit for this backhoe's digging force. The 270B is designed to be comfortable with a strong 3-point stance, non-slip grips and high-back seat on the operator's platform.
The backhoe is easy to take on and off from the tractor, with 3-point draft arms staying in place. It's also compatible with the Auto-Connect mid-mount mower deck, if you decide to add one to your tractor package deal.

Drive-over deck makes connection simple
1 Family Tractors are designed to minimize the time and effort needed to switch-out implements to accommodate different jobs.
1 Family Tractors can have up to three implements mounted simultaneously due to standard dual selective control valves (SCVs), allowing you to switch from using one implement to another without stopping to adjust. When a third SCV kit is added, the number of possible combinations is greatly increased.
Twin Touch? pedals
The hydrostatic transmission's infinite ground speeds and direction of travel are both controlled with the Twin Touch foot pedals.
Standard 4WD and power steering make 1 Family Tractors excellent for mowing
Both 4WD and power steering are standard equipment on the 1 Family Tractors. This combination allows for excellent maneuverability and ease of operation.

Beverage holder

The 1025R Tractor features a 12-V outlet conveniently located on the right-hand side fender for easy access. The placement of the 12-V outlet is within arm's reach.
Fuel fill and fuel gauge locations
The fuel fill location is conveniently accessible on the left-hand side fender. The fuel gauge is located in close proximity to make the fuel refilling process easier.

Mid-mower lift system options
Standard mechanical mower lift
The standard mechanical mower lift system moves the mower in conjunction with the rear implements and comes factory-installed on 1 Family Tractors.
Optional hydraulic mower lift
The optional hydraulic mower lift system allows the mower to be raised and lowered independently of the rear implements. It uses the loader joystick to lift and lower the mower deck.
Optional independent hydraulic mower lift
The optional independent hydraulic lift system allows the mower to be raised and lowered independently of the rear and front implements. It operates using a rocker switch mounted on the tractor, located at the operator?s left knee.
