Commercial Mowing Sales Specialist - Dickson, TN

Type of Employment: Full Time

Purpose:

  • Provides product expertise and support to dealership personnel and customers in selling commercial mowing equipment and other equipment as needed by PLC, Governmental Agencies and other customers assigned by sales manager

Responsibilities:

  • Represents the Dealership in the sale of commercial mowing equipment to customers in a defined sales area
  • Creates, develops, and maintains customer accounts in the commercial mowing segment
  • Knows and follows a defined sales process-account management
  • Maintains product knowledge on commercial mowing equipment and reports on competitive marketing and product activities
  • Maintains and reports all commercial mowing customer activities and trends in assigned territory to sales management
  • Understands various financing options available on commercial mowing equipment
  • Organizes product demonstrations and clinics for commercial mowing customers and participates in local trade shows and dealership promotional events
  • Maintains dealership vehicle and other equipment as assigned
  • May also be responsible for sales of Compact Construction Equipment (CCE)
  • Represent the Dealership to Governmental Customers
  • Represent all relevant areas of the Dealership to drive sales and promote Customer Satisfaction

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

  • 1+ years equipment sales experience
  • Knowledge of commercial mowing products, landscape industry, governmental segment
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to speak and write effectively one-on-one and within a group
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to drive and tow equipment for demonstration/delivery
